Midterm and Final Exams

The exam dates will be published at SIS. Your exam location and list number will be announced one week before the exam.
Please regularly check this page as an unexpected change in the date or location of exam may occur.

Topics of the Midterm Exam: Weeks 1-7
Topics of the Final Exam: Weeks 8-14


Attendance and Assessment of Grades

As per regulation, there is at least 70% attendance requirement for classes and practical sessions. Students who do not meet the attendance requirement will get VF.
There will be seven quizzes with 20%, one midterm exam with 40% and one final exam with 40% contribution to the final grade.
Equally weighted quizzes will be administered during the three-hour class period in the weeks specified above.
Students, who do not sign on the attendance list for the day of the quiz, will be considered to have missed the relevant quiz even if they attended.
As per regulation, there will be no make-up for quizzes.
Participation requirement: Students, who do not attend the midterm exam, will get VF.
Student with VF grade must not take the final exam.
Letter grades are determined by relative grading.


Make-Up Exam Policy

Students missing a midterm or final exam with a valid excuse should submit a petition and eligible documents for their excuses to their own faculties. Location and time of the make-up exams will be posted on this page.
